In her thirties she was asked by the New York Observer to pen the famed column “Sex & the City”, a realistic depiction of “dating and mating in New York City in the mid 1990s.” Now at the peak of her success, Bushnell can be credited with several bestselling novels, an Emmy winning TV series, two box office hits, as well as a new collection of novels and a television series to add to her repertoire. She has seen career lows and highs, found love and lost love time and again – and through it all her optimism and humor remain in tact as an inspiration to all women. Taylor Momsen’s real life somewhat mirrors the life she lived in her breakout role as Jenny Humphrey on the hit television series, “Gossip Girl”. The character was known for her style evolution while climbing the social ranks of the Upper East Side of New York and eventually the downtown fashion scene as a young designer prodigy. A former girl-next-door, this hot starlet has gone from gossip to grunge, now as the lead singer of her rock band, The Pretty Reckless.
