Big S and Pace Wu grew up together in Taiwan and then both became famous, one of a rare case of best friends hitting stardom around the same time. Both actresses and singers, they are making a big splash in the movie field after having dominated TV shows in their native hometown of Taipei. It’s there that we were able to spend an afternoon with them and ask if fortune and fame had changed their beautiful friendship.

Beautiful Jun Ji-Hyun (全智賢) has been the top Korean star for several years now, since her memorable role in the movie “My Sassy Girl.” This year she is for the first time playing a lead part in a Hollywood movie, “Snow Flower and the Secret Fan,” opposite Hugh Jackman. She adopted the western name Gianna and learned to speak English for the movie, making her a serious contender to become the first truly global Korean star. We spoke with Jun Ji-Hyun in Seoul about her booming career, her personal life and what makes Korean women so gracious and unique.

The Academy Award-nominated star of “Natural Born Killers,” “The People vs. Larry Flint” and “No Country for Old Men” has never been busier with a stack of movies coming out in 2010. But that’s not what really drives him. Woody Harrelson is first and foremost an environmental activist who also walks the walk. Whether on a raw food diet, promoting hemp or old growth forests, his sincerity has touched the lives of many, Hollywood stars as well as ordinary people. We had the pleasure of spending some time with him in Los Angeles.
