Vicki Zhao Wei is part of the top 5 actresses of her generation. In the past year she worked nonstop promoting two major movies that will premiere in 2012. At the same, this tenacious theatrical veteran continued to prepare for a major event that will happen this year: her debut as a director for a romance film that is soon to begin shooting. On her personal twitter, she jokes about the “three main daily tasks for movie preparation: sitting in the meeting room, eating, and sleeping. It’s very fattening!” she says. However, all jokes aside, this fit, mutli-talented woman is looking forward to her new career challenge and has shown absolute passion towards her new job as a director.
