“Randomness is essential.” – Charlotte Free

Who’s that girl?  It’s a question many people are asking about 19-year-old model Charlotte Free.  Plucked from obscurity at a Los Angeles arcade, it was impossible for her not to be noticed with her mess of pink hair, 90’s-reminiscent-raver-meets-goth style, and that not-so-innocent pout.  On set, Charlotte projects laid back cool, but in front of the camera, all that attitude comes oozing out.  With a style so distinctive and realized for someone who is still in her teens, Charlotte, who has recently become the face of Forever 21, is a model who truly has “It” going on.  In our personal style story, Charlotte talks about her inspirations and her quick rise as the model-of-the-moment.  Styled in some of her favourite thrifted gems mixed instinctively with pieces from Ksubi, Current/Elliott, Adidas, and Jeremy Scott, it’s no doubt that Charlotte Free is really something special.
