When Nayvadius DeMun Wilburn was a kid growing up in Atlanta, Georgia, his vision of music was already so beyond what his peers were doing that he earned the nickname “Future.” Soon after, he started working with his first cousin Rico Wade, who was already well established in the music business.

Collaboration with Rihanna, Drake, Taylor Swift and many others ensued.

On Valentine’s Day 2017, Future announced via Instagram that his self-titled fifth studio album would be released on February 17, 2017. Exactly one week later, he would release his sixth studio album titled Hndrxx. He had already been calling himself “Future Hendrix” for quite some time. Both albums went number one consecutively, which made Future the first artist to debut two albums at number one at the same time on the US and Canadian album charts. Future rarely gives interviews to international media, so we were curious to know more about him. He is a man of few words, but he cares about the way he presents himself. He is in the moment, but also thinking ahead.
